Discovery call
30 minutes. Fit check, scope, what kind of decisions you're trying to make.

I get read access to the repo and run a 90-minute interview with your lead engineer to understand the system.

I read code, run queries, evaluate retrieval, check observability, and document findings.

Report drafting
I write the report and the prioritized fix list. Draft is yours to review before the walkthrough.

60 minutes. Q&A on the report, agreement on the top-three actions, written notes after.

Honest questions
- What if you find nothing serious?
- Then I'll say so, and the engagement is worth it because you stop wondering. The most valuable outcome of an audit is sometimes the words "you're fine" written down by an outside architect.
- Do you sign an NDA?
- Yes, mutual NDA on request, standard terms. The report itself is your property.
- Will you fix the issues you find?
- Not in this engagement. The audit is independent of any implementation work. If you want me to do the fixes after, that's a separate scoped engagement.
- What if my AI stack uses tools you don't know?
- I'm fluent in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, the major vector stores (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate), and the major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock). If you're on something genuinely exotic, I'll say so on the discovery call.
- Can this be remote?
- Yes. The audit is remote-by-default. On-site is available at cost if you specifically need it.
